Privacy Policy

Lathrop International, Inc. (“Lathrop International,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal information you share with us. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through www.lathropinternational.com and our related scheduling, communication, and consultation tools (together, the “Services”), how we use and protect it, and the choices available to you.

By using our Services, you acknowledge that you have reviewed this Privacy Policy.

1. Information We Collect

Information You Provide to Us

● Contact details, such as your name, email address, and phone number, when you submit an inquiry, request a consultation, or book an appointment.

● Scheduling details, such as the date, time, and stated purpose of a consultation or meeting.

● Any additional information you choose to share with us in the course of an inquiry or engagement. All information shared with Lathrop International is treated as confidential in accordance with this Policy and any separate engagement agreement.

Information Collected Automatically

● Technical information such as IP address, browser type, device type, and general location, collected when you visit our website.

● Usage information, such as pages viewed and links clicked, collected through cookies and similar technologies (see Section 4).

SMS and Communication Consent Records

When you submit a scheduling or contact form, you may be asked to separately opt in to (a) non-marketing text messages related to appointment confirmations, scheduling updates, and consultation reminders, and/or (b) marketing text messages and emails, such as newsletters and updates. We keep a record of the consent choices you make, the date they were made, and the phone number or email address associated with them, in order to honor your preferences and comply with applicable law.

2. How We Use Your Information

● To respond to inquiries and schedule, confirm, and manage consultations.

● To send appointment confirmations, scheduling updates, and consultation reminders to clients who have consented to receive them.

● To send newsletters, updates, or other marketing communications to individuals who have separately opted in to receive them.

● To maintain, secure, and improve our website and Services.

● To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.

We do not use the information you provide to build or sell customer lists to unaffiliated third parties, and we do not sell your personal information.

3. Text Messaging (SMS) Terms

If you provide your mobile number and check the applicable consent box(es) on our scheduling or contact forms, you agree to receive text messages from Lathrop International as described below. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing or receiving any service.

Non-Marketing (Transactional) Messages

If you consent, we may send occasional non-marketing text messages regarding appointment confirmations, scheduling updates, and consultation reminders.

Marketing Messages

If you separately consent, we may send occasional marketing text messages and emails, including newsletters and updates.

General SMS Terms

● Message frequency varies.

● Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier and plan.

● Reply HELP to either program for assistance, or reply STOP at any time to opt out of that program. Opting out of marketing messages does not automatically opt you out of transactional messages related to a scheduled consultation, and vice versa — you may need to reply STOP separately to each program.

● Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

● We do not share mobile opt-in information or phone numbers collected for SMS purposes with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

4. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

Our website and scheduling tools may use cookies and similar technologies to operate the site, remember preferences, and understand how visitors use our Services. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling cookies may affect the functionality of certain features, including scheduling.

5. How We Share Information

We may share information with:

● Service providers who support our operations, such as our scheduling and client-communication platform, email delivery services, and SMS carriers — solely to help us provide the Services.

● Vetted partners within our professional network, but only where you have specifically requested a referral or introduction, and only to the extent necessary to facilitate that engagement.

● Government authorities or other parties, where required by law, legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Lathrop International or others.

● A successor entity, in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy or a comparable one.

We do not sell your personal information.

6. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect the confidentiality and security of the information you provide. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy, maintain accurate consent and communication records, and comply with legal, accounting, or reporting obligations.

8. Your Rights and Choices

● SMS: Reply STOP to any message thread to opt out of that specific messaging program, or reply HELP for assistance.

● Email: Use the unsubscribe link included in marketing emails, or contact us directly.

● Access, correction, or deletion: You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us using the details in Section 11, subject to applicable law and our legitimate business and legal recordkeeping needs.

If your state or jurisdiction provides additional privacy rights (for example, the right to know, delete, or opt out of certain data practices), those rights are honored as required by applicable law.

9. Children’s Privacy

Our Services are directed to adults and are not intended for individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can remove it.

10. Third-Party Links

Our website may contain links to third-party sites. This Privacy Policy applies only to Lathrop International’s Services, and we are not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party sites.
